I have been lurking at Scapping the Music for months. I finally decided to go ahead and DO IT! Here's how it works...Each week a new song with the lyrics is posted. You can use any part of the song in your layout. I have done pages before and never sent them in (for whatever reason). This time I'm doing it! Go visit the sight...it's great for inspiration. This layout is of the beautiful bed that I slept in while on a scrapbooking retreat with some friends last year in Galveston.
The images in the upper right hand corner are from Sabrina Zanetti's Etsy Shop. I love her images. She even used my artwork in her store as a sample.

Something for ME!
Yep! I made something just for me. I bought this frame from YaYa Chique when she was closing her store front. I think I only paid like $12 for it, pretty good price for such a huge frame! Each "window" is 4x6.
Anyway, the picture is of my husband's grandmother. My sister-in-law thinks it is her engagement picture from 1933! We lost dear Grammie 2 years ago and the tender age of 92. Her little body just finally gave out. Let me tell you this woman had a mind sharp as a tack. Very witty, and I loved to make her laugh.

Marie Antoinette
Just a little something I made for my BFF from high school...the pink canvas is 11x14and the aqua canvas is 8x10. The digital images are from an artist in Italy. I just love her stuff! You can find her here etsy.com/shop/sabrinazanetti.

New layouts for By Design
Long time, no post.........
So Ethan freaked out a little when he saw me cutting on his old, worn, tore up jeans that no long fit...but what's a girl to do, right? I hot glued the denim to the bottom of the tag and used part of a doily that I had already cut up for another project (my hat in the photo). Waste not, want not...LOL
You won't believe this but I did this picture with an app from my iPhone...cool, huh! It's called ToonPAINT. I got inspiration for the page from this awesome artist
Leslie Ashe
Have you ever been to Zube Park when the trains are there? It's really cool to see all the trains! There is no charge to ride....there is a donation box for the upkeep of the track.
Yep, that's me...turning the big "44"
Can you believe Ethan was once so small...I can't...he's only 9 and is 5' tall and weighs 90lbs...
